Biografía
Sig Ruman fue un actor germano-estadounidense conocido por sus interpretaciones de funcionarios o villanos teutónicos pomposos y a menudo estereotipados. Ruman hizo su debut cinematográfico en Lucky Boy (1929). Se convirtió en el favorito de los hermanos Marx, apareciendo en Una noche en la ópera, Un día en las carreras y Una noche en Casablanca. Su acento alemán y su gran estatura lo mantuvieron ocupado durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial, interpretando siniestros personajes nazis en una serie de thrillers de tiempos de guerra. Durante este período, también apareció en varias películas del director Ernst Lubitsch, incluidas Ninotchka y To Be or Not to Be.
